The world's first frozen margarita machine was "invented' by Mariano Martinez of Mariano's in Dallas back in 1971, using an old soft-serve ice cream machine.

It is in the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., now. Which --- as a sacred cultural artifact ----- is as it should be.
