Milton Snavely Hershey and wife Catherine Sweeney Hershey, were to have returned home on the Titanic and had even given a deposit of $300.00 for their tickets.

Fate intervened when business prompted them to return earlier on the ship, Amerika.

If not for fate there would be no Hershey's Chocolate.
