Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

In Roald Dahl’s original draft of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” there is a sixth child named Miranda who is ground into powder and used as ingredients in Wonka’s candy. 

The scene was removed from the story after being deemed too gruesome for a children’s novel.
