Very few people know where Netflix's warehouses are located

Netflix is fast, it’s efficient, it gets the job done, but for the most part, it’s pretty invisible. There are 58 Netflix warehouses nationwide, serving 10.5 million subscribers, and very few people know where these warehouses are located.

If you work at one of these warehouses, you have to sign a confidentiality agreement that you will not expose it's secret location.

Netflix is so hush-hush about it's warehouse locations for a couple good reasons. Number 1: Each warehouse stores several million DVDs and expensive mail-sorting gizmos and dry-board posted statistics of how many discs were recently returned damaged, placed in the wrong sleeve, or scratched.

And number 2: In the past, when customers have found out where the warehouses are, they’ve dropped them off at the door because they think it’ll help them get their next disc faster.

Netflix warehouses are disguised as dumpy and drab places with not a single piece of identifiable piece of Netflix signage on anything out front. Only employees and a few privileged guests get to enter through the secret, less-than-obvious door.
