The Fox Sisters' Cabin

The Fox Sisters' cabin became quite famous over the last century. 

In 1848, in Hydesville, New York where two of the sisters grew up, claimed to hear rapping noise. 

On March 31, the youngest sister challenged the noise maker, she asked the spirit to "rap" the ages of the two young girls - and it did. 

Whatever they tapped on the floor, it tapped back. 

This event began an interest in spirit communication that led to the founding of religion of Spiritualism. 

The cottage mysterious burned down in 1955.
