Fort Knox Is So Mysterious And Heavily Guarded, Only One US President Has Ever Been Inside

What is Fort Knox?

Located in Kentucky, Fort Knox is a United States Army base that's home to most of the US's gold reserves.

It's one of the most inaccessible places in the world and is so secure it once housed the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights.

It also has a serious reputation among conspiracy theorists who question the amount of gold actually in the vault and what else might be hidden within.

Because only one president has ever been inside – and the US Mint remains largely mum on the contents of the vault – Fort Knox conspiracy theories abound.

What's really inside Fort Knox? The general American public may never know.
